The Issho is worth the stop, great food and excellent service, true to Japanese culture, they do provide BYO if you ask, the tempura is outstanding. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys their food.

For a new place, it’s not too bad. The sashimi was very fresh and tasty, with the exception of the Tuna, which was a bit mushy. Didn’t have that same firm texture that I’m used to. The prawn tempura was light and crunchy, and served very hot. The karaage was okay. Not the best I’ve had, but decent. The green tea was very fresh and fragrant. We ordered a different green tea than the traditional, but I can’t recall what it was. Service was very friendly and efficient. While I have a couple of favourite sushi places closer to where I live and work, I would stop here again if I’m in the neighbourhood.

Hight quality, delicious food. The service is good, as is the portion size. Sashimi is fresh and the Karage and rice bowls are amazing.

Showed up around 2pm, place was quiet after the lunch rush. Food was amazing !! We got the salmon special rolls and the takoyaki. Will definitely come back, and was much cheaper and better than Sushi Train!!! Top recommendation if you’re getting any sushi in Clayfield. Our favorite was the salmon specialty roll, the one that isn’t deep fried. (:
